Portugal: Wildlife recovery

This project aims to return faunal biodiversity to national forests, making them more resilient and adapted to the climate conditions expected for our country.

A forest with a balanced ecosystem is a forest that is more resilient to weather events that are increasingly strong and frequent in our country. This project assures the treatment of weakened wild animals in recovery centers and their return to the natural environment. The project also allows for studies related to the biology of the species, captive breeding programs, environmental education, and training actions, provided that these activities do not interfere with the animals' recovery process.
